Qvisten Animation made the 90-second animated intro to Troll 2 on Netflix, and I was the producer. We were commissioned by the main vendor, Motion Blur. It was a big honour, as the first Troll movie is the most seen non English-speaking film on Netflix ever.
The style was inspired by Theodor Kittelsen’s work, with backgrounds hand-drawn by artists Kristian Voss and Kai Robin Ree. All animation was done in 3D in a hand-drawn style with a custom made shader.
